So, I posted this ad on Craigslist:
Are you expecting the rapture on 5/21/2011? Do you live in Dallas, Ft. Worth, or the surrounding area? Are you concerned about what will happen to your possessions after you are taken up to heave by the holy spirit?
I can help!
As an atheist, I am guaranteed to be left behind when god calls his children home, but my loss is your gain! If you surrender your possessions to me today, you can rest easy knowing that you precious belongings will continue to be enjoyed by those who will still have need of worldly good on May 22nd and for the 3.5 to 7 years of tribulation that are certain to follow!
As an added bonus to homeowners, if you sign your deed in lieu of sale today, I will lease the property back to you until May 21st for just a dollar, offering you the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your family can remain safe in their own home until the lord comes to collect them at virtually no cost to you!
E-mail me right away to get started!
This is a limited time offer! Act now!
Sorry, no pets or perishable items.
Let’s see if anyone replies. I’ll post any responses I get next Sunday!
UPDATE: So, I got food poisoning over the rapture weekend, so I’m a bit late with this. Doesn’t really matter since the “community” on Craigslist continued to delete this ad repeatedly, and I therefore didn’t get any E-mails about it. Ho hum.
Thrown out of church today. I brought in a Mother’s Day present for the Virgin Mary: A gift basket that contained a box of rubbers, a cucumber, a bottle of lube, a magnifying glass, fingerprint detection kit, a UV light, and a card that said “Next time, wrap it up or just stay home. If you pop out another one, Earth will have yet another religion to deal with. Good luck finding the baby daddy.”
I almost hacked up a lung watching this! =) Enjoy!
Hahahaha!

It’s a pet topic for Gingrich, who converted to Catholicism two years ago. His 2006 book “Rediscovering God in America” opened with the blistering line: “There is no attack on American life more destructive and more historically dishonest than the secular Left’s relentless effort to drive God out of America’s public square.”
Newt’s right. I mean, who would want to be associated with such dishonest liberal secularists as Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, George Washington, that show off John Hancock, or anyone who would strive to push god out of America’s public square by signing a law that reads, in part:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
How un-American.
Hear that girls? Pat Robertson is on to your scheme to become lesbians and abort your babies!

I disagree with a lot of the things said in this video, BUT it is totally undeniable that this video is jaw-droppingly…
Can you tell me what, specifically, Tim Minchin says in this work that is demonstrably wrong?
…and so it is…
